Dr. Bob Caron is an educational consultant with Deloitte, working with top universities and higher education systems throughout the United States on their most pressing challenges. Before working for Deloitte, he was an academic dean in a small New England college and, prior to that, an Assistant Professor and Researcher in the field of Human Movement and Rehabilitation Sciences.

Bob has trained in Zen meditation and Aikido since he was 17 years old and taught these disciplines for many years as the Chief Instructor of a world-class dojo that he adopted after his first teacher passed away. He is a long-time Zen student of Ginny Whitelaw, Roshi, and a board member at the Institute for Zen Leadership.

He has three school-aged children and is a partner in his wife’s holistic medical center, called Body Therapeutics in Worcester, Massachusetts. He lives among the woods in a rural town about 30 miles west of Boston and enjoys working his land, climbing mountains in the summer, snowboarding in the winter, sharing time with his wife and kids.
