Zen Leadership Off the Cushion - ZLOTC

Join us for ZLOTC monthly

Calling all Alumni! You asked for more ways to train together and to enjoy, energize and grow our community. Then you stepped up and made it happen.

These 90-minute online gatherings are led and taught by seasoned IZL community members and instructors. They follow a rhythm we’ve come to love:

  • Welcome, tea, and brief Zazen (sitting meditation)

  • Introductions and check in

  • A teaching on an IZL topic, with innovations, embodiment practices and seed questions for breakout discussions likely

  • Partner or small group discussions

  • “Pass the rock,” circle practice or group discussion

  • Coming attractions and close

The series is offered on a donation basis and meets on the 3rd Wednesday (in even months) or Sunday (in odd months) at 9 am - 10:30 am CT (NEW TIME).

New to us? Contact us and we’ll match you with a host for your first session who can introduce you to the group and answer any questions you have about the flow of activities.

Flip 8 - From “It’s All About Me” To “I’m All About It” - When Nothing's Certain: Tapping Into Our Visionary Energy Through Play And Dreaming

If we are attuned to the disruptions and uncertainties of the world around us, it may be difficult at times to stay open and connected to the vision of what this world could be, and to all the amazing and magical opportunities that are possible, despite negative events we witness daily.

Tapping into our visionary energy can help with staying expansive in the times when our mind and body want to tense up, shut down and go into survival mode.

I invite the ZLOTC community to explore the intersection between Zen Leadership and the FEBI instrument, improvisation and dreaming.

When we connect to the biggest, boldest vision of what's possible, new solutions and ways of being can emerge, that seemed impossible -or invisible before.
