Emily Alpert

Master FEBI Coach and IZL Operations Manager

In 2013, Emily was being interviewed by Ginny Whitelaw and Mark Kiefaber about conducting research on the FEBI personality assessment they developed—truly the dream of every up-and-coming psychology student! While the research paper was being drafted, Emily was being offered a job.

After joining a few FEBI Certification training calls to talk about her research, she became curious about coaching. While Emily was working on her Master’s degree in I/O Psychology with a specialty in leadership development, Ginny gave her the chance to attend a coaching school, become FEBI Certified, and eventually to co-teach FEBI Certification. After she held her first FEBI coaching call, she concluded, “I know what I want to do with the rest of my life.”

Present day, Emily is the “coach’s coach” and operations manager of IZL. She keeps the backend of IZL running from paying the bills to providing administrative and technical support to programs and summits alike. When Emily isn’t coaching or administrating, you can find her with a book and coffee, spending time with her partner while they laugh at their cat or doing yoga.
