Dennis Tirman

Dennis Tirman MS is the President of Tirman Consulting. He has over 30 years of experience coaching and consulting with global leaders, helping them develop successful practices to improve individual and team performance, capability and vitality. He has worked in multiple industries in some of the world’s top companies including The Hershey Company, AbbVie Pharmaceuticals, Pfizer, Johnson Controls, Novartis, UBS Financial Services, Siemens, and Kraft Foods.

Over the last ten years Dennis has worked primarily in the Health Care industry with physician leaders, nursing leaders and administrators in a number of systems which include FMOLHC, SSM HC, TriHealth, Martin’s Point HC, Mercy HC, and Trinity HC

Dennis began Zen training 7 years ago and is an instructor in Zen Leadership. Active in the Institute for Zen Leadership (IZL) from its start, Dennis has co-taught in several IZL programs, and has trained in Zen sesshin and BodyZen.

Dennis has contributed to works on Executive Leadership, most notably, Relationships that Enable Enterprise Change. He has lectured at Columbia University Teachers College, and is an Advisory Board Member and Adjunct Faculty at the Haile/US Bank College of Business at the Northern Kentucky University.
